I’ve been on this recycling and composting kick lately. I suddenly started to really bother me (even more) that my place of business has so much waste. Of course, I try to eat and give away as much as I can, but there is just still so much.

I’ve decided to do something about it. Personally, I am going to use my own dishes as much as possible, instead of plates at work, which get thrown away.

Instead of tossing expired food in their plastic containers out, I am separating the food into one garbage and recycling the plastic.

Today I am calling different composting companies in the area to see what we can do to reduce waste. It might prove futile, but I have to try. I can only do what I can do.

This will most likely also mean I drink less sparkling water. Even though I love it, it is another bottle, that although I recycle, it still is waste.

I started reading a book by the same author who wrote The Pursuit of Happyness, and it gave me pregnancy dreams. Not the kind you want to have living in a van. I don’t have a place to put that. And honestly, I have no idea how I would get a baby out of my body. It’s witchcraft.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries, walnuts and sunflower butter
